Delivery – Cafe Rio Inc. – Rock Springs, WY

Our Catering Delivery Drivers are charged with Delivering our One of a Kind Food with Energy to external locations. They are responsible for supporting with order preparation, packaging, delivery and on-site set up. Additionally, when not delivering orders on behalf of the Company, they may serve as restaurant Team Members (this may represent 50% or more of the employee’s scheduled hours).

Percentage of Time Spent:

  • 50% Delivers Catering Orders
  • 50% Serves as a Restaurant Team Member

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a brand ambassador by complying with Company uniform and appearance standards
  • Charged with creating and maintaining an exceptional guest experience by phone/in-person, including but not limited to communicating with customers in a friendly and respectful manner; anticipating customer needs; and addressing customer questions and concerns
  • Adhere to and maintain operational standards and guidelines, including food quality and safety, individual/team safety, cleanliness and sanitation
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures
  • Comply with all driving rules, regulations and laws
  • Verify order accuracy, quality and presentation
  • Work alongside fellow team members to meet daily catering goals
  • Appropriately mark, wrap, store and bag products for use/storage
  • Perform pre-delivery preparation activities including but not limited to becoming familiar with delivery area/route and planning delivery, following proper delivery procedures, and acting with a sense of urgency
  • Assemble, maintain, clean and store equipment for daily business (including correcting and reporting issues)
  • Accurately prepare and process shift, delivery and/or order paperwork
  • Regularly serve as a front or back of house team member and complete applicable shift responsibilities and duties as assigned by the manager on duty • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle Insurance
  • Prior restaurant experience a plus
  • Exhibit good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Able to communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus but not required
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and maintain energy and enthusiasm at all times
  • Strong attention to detail; able to consistently follow directions, standards and recipes
  • Comfortable working in varied temperatures, humidity and dampness from production area
  • Able to multi-task and focused on getting the job done the right way always
  • Able to stand for 8 plus hours
  • Able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
